>We received a letter from American Red Cross

Our donation accumulated to the total amount of $1225.00 ( $25 X 49 boats ), and I would like to thank each of you who participated my event. I could not have this event without our sponsors and supporting staffs, and of course, stars on the stage.

Lake Wheeler produced a super fishing as we saw that it took more than 19 pounds to win, it also took 15 pounds to place on top 10! I would love to come back to this place and I hope to see ya'all next time!

Kota,

Just wanted to say "Thank You" for bringing the 2011 Kota's American Dream tournament back to Wheeler Lake. Even though we did not catch a limit of fish or win the grand prize, my fishing partner and I had a great time. This was our second year to participate in the tournament and we are already looking forward to 2012.

One of the things we were most impressed by was the amount of give aways and prizes that were available this year. It looked like everyone who attended the drawing walked away with something extra to take home with them. Playing Paper- Rock-Scissors for the bigger items was a super idea because it gave everyone a fair chance to win.

You and your wife are always so friendly and gracious....we hope to see you again soon!

Thanks again,

Kota,

Enjoyed fishing the American Dream Tournament Saturday. Congratulations on the new entry record. Very well organized. Just wished Don and I had put more fish in the boat. We had about 14 pounds on our practice day Thursday and that was after leaving our main spot after 20 minutes. Our biggest problem was Don lost one of the two Jackall lures we were catching most of the fish on Thursday early that morning and I lost the second, and only other one we had, about three hours into the day on Saturday. I had already caught two fish back-to-back on it. We did lose two other fish after that which would have probably put us at about 12 pounds instead of the 4.5 we brought in. Who knows what we would have had if I had not lost our last fish-catching Jackall bait.

Thanks for the nice rod and reel I won with the ticket drawing. Also, thanks for the Yamaha cap. Please tell your wife I did pick one up before I left Saturday. Don will probably fish the event next year with his son or grandson like he had first planned for this year. So, I might get me another partner and fish it next year. I fish very few tournaments now.

Bass wishes,

We have received a testimonial from 2010 Champion, Jason Meninger

Fishing and winning Kota's American Dream Tournament was one of the most memorable experiences of my life!

I got to experience Japan in a very exclusive way with Kota as my tour guide and host,

ultimately gaining a new appreciation for the Japanese way of life and their passion for fishing.

I also love fishing Lake Wheeler and visiting Decatur, AL, so you can expect to see me again in December to defend my American Dream title!

Jason Meninjer
